Preparing for the AI revolution: How we establish (Gen)AI at Stadtwerke München

Innovation in the GenAI sector evolves rapidly - how can big corporations keep up? What are crucial success factors, but also pitfalls along the way of establishing a GenAI capability?

In this talk, we shed light on these questions based on our experiences at Stadtwerke München (SWM). We derive valuable lessons learned from the early adoption of an internal self-built ChatGPT tool, launched already in July 2023. Furthermore, we deep-dive into Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): We built a prototype chatbot tailored to our customer-service hotline.
