Human & AI: Best Buddies?! How Leaders Can Shape AI Transformations in a Human-Centered and Successful Way
23 September 2026, 13:00 - 13:45
Workshop Room 2 (A04)
AI transformations rarely fail because of the technology itself, but rather due to culture, leadership, and a lack of employee involvement. In this workshop, it will be shown how leaders can shape transformation processes in a way that enables humans and AI to become productive partners.
This session brings together two complementary perspectives on AI transformation: Isabel Hernandez Cabrera's view from the industrial and automotive side, shaped by her work as an ethics expert on autonomous driving and AI systems at Mercedes-Benz, and Marianne Beer's perspective from the AI provider side, drawn from her experience in AI operating systems at Aleph Alpha. Together, they cover both angles of AI transformation — industry and AI business — enriching the practical relevance and discussion of the workshop.
The focus is on how to address employees’ fears and resistance constructively, build AI-related competencies, and foster a corporate culture that strengthens trust, willingness to learn, and a sense of responsibility. Employees learn how to collaborate productively and with minimized risk alongside their future “automated colleagues".
