We highly value embedding sustainability and resource conservation in all aspects of AIDAQ – from promoting travel options that reduce CO2 emissions, to using reusable scaffolding and design elements, to providing vegetarian catering with regional food. In close collaboration with our service partners, we strive to establish sustainable practices as a core aspect of our event.
As organizers, we want to financially support climate protection projects and, together with PrimaKlima, set an example for responsible and resource-efficient event management. The focus is on the key aspects of ecological, economic and social sustainability, which we consider and continuously develop within the framework of the event concept for AIDAQ.
The financial climate contribution of the Quantum Summit means that the event's CO2 emissions are calculated in accordance with the guidelines of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard (GHG Protocol), and certified and regularly audited climate protection projects are financially supported in the amount of the calculated emissions. The calculation includes all CO2 emissions incurred during the planning and implementation of the event: from the participants' travel to the event technology and energy used, to the total number of booked overnight stays.
For this event, working with the non-profit organization PrimaKlima, we offset the CO2 emissions generated by the event. PrimaKlima is dedicated to safeguarding vulnerable ecosystems and empowering local communities. By planting trees and conserving forests globally, they help ensure the sustainability of diverse habitats and contribute to a reliable climate for future generations.
