Isabel Hernandez Cabrera

Isabel's passion is to make responsible AI a success story for companies and users. Currently, she can be effective in this regard by being responsible for Mercedes Benz for the ethics of automated driving and in-vehicle AI at Mercedes-Benz Group AG. As part of an interdisciplinary development team, she integrates ethical considerations into feasible vehicle concepts from the outset, embedding them throughout the product development process for automated driving and AI functionalities, following an ""Ethics by Design"" approach. Previously, as an organizational development expert, she led the cultural development and training of Mercedes-Benz Group AG staff in matters of Integrity, Compliance, and Legal, under the sponsorship of the board member for Integrity and Legal Affairs. She has extensive experience in successfully raising awareness and shifting the mindset of executives and employees regarding the responsible handling of ethical and regulatory challenges in their daily work. Isabel Hernandez Cabrera holds a diploma in cultural sciences and is currently finalizing her master's degree in Ethics at the Munich School of Philosophy.
