From Physics to Systems: Scaling Quantum Computing for Industrial Use

Quantum hardware roadmaps are evolving. While recent progress has not been defined by one single breakthrough, the field is shifting from headline metrics and qubit numbers toward system-level questions: reliability, scalability, architecture, error-correction pathways, operational stability and industrial readiness. This session brings together selected technology and expert perspectives to assess where quantum hardware progress stands today, what has changed in roadmaps and assumptions over the past 12–24 months, and which technical, engineering and ecosystem barriers still need to be overcome. The discussion will focus on what it will take to move from promising physical systems toward scalable, reliable and industrially usable quantum computing.
