AI Disruption Readiness: Implications for Cyber Security

Frontier AI is advancing faster than most enterprise operating models can absorb, reshaping competitive advantage, strategic autonomy, and risk. At the same time, changing provider policies, export controls, and geopolitical restrictions are turning dependence on a single model or platform into a business continuity concern. Enterprises must therefore move beyond simply “buying a model” and establish an AI strategy that preserves model choice, protects proprietary context, and retains independent authority over AI actions. This requires an enterprise control plane across models, data, identities, agents, and tools. As AI becomes increasingly autonomous, the central question is no longer only what systems know, but what they are permitted to decide and do. The strategic objective is clear: capture frontier capabilities at speed while maintaining sovereignty, resilience, and the ability to switch, stop, and recover.
