Building Trusted AI Answers: Why Data Models Matter in the Age of AI

Natural language makes data access easier, but reliable AI answers depend on more than language models. In an experiment with 6 AI agent configurations and 150 answers, we tested how data modeling and standardized metadata affect answer quality. The results show that data modeling has its own measurable impact by making business knowledge explicit and accessible to AI. The session demonstrates how data models and knowledge models together provide the foundation for trustworthy AI analytics.
