With the Quantum Summit 2025, we aim to accompany the industrialization of quantum computing and bring together the quantum ecosystem in Germany and Europe. The summit programme comprises two focus areas: Developing a holistic ecosystem and Deployment & Exploitation

General Requirements

For the Deployment & Exploitation programme stream, we are seeking presentations that showcase real-world applications and implementation experiences of quantum computing in industrial, business, or institutional settings. Our focus is on proof-of-concept solutions and first-hand accounts of deploying quantum technologies, with a clear emphasis on practical, solution-oriented approaches at advanced stages of technological readiness.

Submissions should align with TRL 4 or higher, which requires that use cases are validated in industrially relevant environments and/or tested under application-like conditions

To ensure a focus on actionable insights and real-life impact, we are only considering contributions from:

  • Technology providers presenting jointly with an end-user (customer or partner), or
  • Business or institutional end-users sharing their experiences and outcomes.

If your work demonstrates how quantum computing can be successfully integrated into real-world contexts, we encourage you to apply and share your journey with the quantum community.

Please bear in mind that proposals without end-user contributions will not be considered.

Focus Areas and Topics

We invite proposals covering application areas such as Quantum Machine Learning, Simulation & Chemistry, and Optimization within various sectors, while focusing on one or more of the following topics (not limited to these):

  • Proofs-of-concept of practical use cases utilizing quantum computing (in particular, FTQC), or hybrid computing systems.
  • Setting up and implementing quantum computing strategies within organizations, including scaling from pilot projects to production-ready solutions.
  • Benchmarking methodologies, including application-relevant metrics and the evaluation of quantum and hybrid solutions in real-world scenarios.
  • Integration and deployment of quantum computing technologies into industrial environments, emphasizing end-user results and tangible outcomes.
  • Experience with bridging technologies, such as quantum-classical interfacing or workflows leveraging quantum accelerators.
  • Quantum-safe encryption: real-world implementations of quantum-safe solutions and lessons learned from deployments in various sectors (e. g. public, finance, healthcare, and critical infrastructure).

Our expert council will thoroughly review all submissions, assessing their quality, relevance, and real-world applicability. Bitkom will make the final decision on submissions based on the council’s recommendations.

Submissions Deadline: Friday, 14 March 2025 at midnight (12:00 AM Berlin time, Standard Time Zone: GMT/UTC + 01:00 hour).

Abstracts should be submitted and presented in English.

PLEASE ADHERE TO THE ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
