Prof. Dr Henner Gimpel

Prof. Dr. Henner Gimpel is passionate about designing a responsible, economically viable digital future. With his background in industrial engineering, management, and information systems, he analyzes and designs socio-technical systems. His research centers on artificial, hybrid, and collective intelligence and the digital transformation of our work and private lives. At Fraunhofer FIT, he combines scientific excellence with applied research in the industry. At the University of Hohenheim, he holds the Chair of Digital Management and teaches future digital business managers. Previous stations include a professorship at the University of Augsburg, industry experience as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, and a doctorate and diploma from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
