Design of QML benchmarking metric for NISQ devices
As part of my PhD in quantum physics with Ferdinand Schmidt-Kaler at JGU Mainz I realised a fault-tolerant parity readout with a 6-qubit shuttling-based trapped ion quantum computer. During this time, I was able to combine my interests in computer science and physics, which helped me realise this achievement. I have 10 years of experience in quantum technologies, software development and leading projects in this field. As co-founder and chief scientific officer at neQxt, I consider myself very fortunate to be able to further advance and contribute ideas to the development of scalable quantum computers with user-friendly interfaces.
