Dr․ Daniela Brönstrup

Dr Daniela Brönstrup took office as Bundesnetzagentur Vice President in June 2024 and is responsible for the telecommunications, digital, postal and rail sectors. Before joining the Bundesnetzagentur, Daniela Brönstrup was director-general for digital and innovation policy and, from 2015 to 2021, deputy director-general for telecommunications, media and post and international digital policy at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. She was head of the division for international and European economic and monetary issues and the division for public finances at the Federal Economics Ministry and, from 2007 to 2010, was responsible for economic affairs, finance, labour and social security at the Office of the Federal President. Daniela Brönstrup holds a doctorate in economics and is a trained journalist.
