Dr Jan Reiner

Jan Reiner obtained his PhD at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology studying the effects of errors in quantum computations. Together with three of his colleagues he co-founded HQS Quantum Simulations, a company dedicated to developing software for quantum simulations addressing the material, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. In his position as Chief Scientific Officer, his central responsibility is the overview of HQS’ scientific work, where he leads the company’s research efforts in several Europe-wide scientific collaborations.
