Dr-Ing Anisa Rizvanolli

Dr.-Ing. Anisa Rizvanolli leads the team 'Maritime Scientific Computing and Optimization' at Fraunhofer Center for Maritime Logistics and Services in Hamburg. The design, development, customization and roll out of decision support systems for efficient operations in shipping is the main focus of her work. As scientific advisor she is involved in various research projects dealing with innovative information management concepts and systems for shipping, ports and logistics. Her special field of interest is the development of appropriate mathematical models and efficient algorithms for solving challenging real world problems from the maritime domain. She holds a Phd in Computational Science and Engineering with special focus in applied mathematics from Hamburg University of Technology.
