Caitlin is a Quantum Machine Learning specialist at BASF, working to see if QML can be used to give practical advantage for commercial problems. She is a theoretical physicist by training, having completed a PhD in foundational quantum mechanics from the University of Trieste. She has also worked as a data scientist at several tech start-ups.
