Dr Robert Helbig

Dr Robert Helbig holds a degree in economics and business administration and a doctorate in tax complexity. He started his DATEV career in 2014 in the sales force, where he was responsible for the university market as part of the DATEV education partnership and was in charge of several platform projects. In 2019, he then moved to the role of Digital Transformation Officer. 

In the same year, he took over the management and development of external development teams at DATEV. He was also involved in the conception of the DATEV FlexHub, an organizational unit that allocates units or other resources flexibly and promptly in the sense of a marketplace where development priority & skill demand are particularly high. In his most recent role, he takes over the management and development of the DATEV Incubator & Technological Innovation as Chief Product Owner. Since 2023, he has had central responsibility for Generative AI and since July 2024 for the entire topic of AI at DATEV.
