Jonas Andrulis started developing software as a teenager and quickly developed a fascination for mathematics and structures. After studying industrial engineering at the KIT in Karlsruhe and a thesis on Bayesian networks, he worked as a consultant in the field of AI and modeling. active. He successfully founded two AI software companies: The first to plan and optimize of logistics, the second to train and validate human-in-the-loop Deep Learning Algorithms to optimize the interaction between humans and machines. After three years as Engineering Manager for AI research in Apple's Special Projects Group and later Siri, he founded in 2019 again founded Aleph Alpha in Heidelberg, Germany, the third AI startup. Since then, Aleph Alpha has raised a total of 28 mil. Euros raised from some of Europe's top deep tech investors with the goal of establish independent top AI research and run enabling technology for a new kind of AI value creation process.

Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Education and Research

Mario Brandenburg was appointed Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Education and Research in June 2022. 

Mario Brandenburg has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2017. During the 19th legislative period (2017 to 2021), he served as spokesperson of the Free Democratic Party for technology policy and represented his party on the Committee on Education, Research and Technology Assessment, on the Committee on the Digital Agenda and on the Study Commission on Artificial Intelligence. In the 20th legislative period (2021 to 2025), Mr Brandenburg was appointed spokesperson of the Free Democratic Party in the German Bundestag for research, technology and innovation and sat on the Committee on Education, Research and Technology Assessment. 

Mario Brandenburg has an M.Sc. in business informatics. In 2009, he was recruited by Europe's largest software company, SAP SE, where he worked until 2017, starting as a working student covering various positions before working as a cloud integration architect and consultant. Mr Brandenburg joined the FDP in 2010 and was elected to the local council and the collective municipality council in Rülzheim, Rhineland-Palatinate in 2014. 

Mario Brandenburg was born on 3 October 1983 in Bad Bergzabern. He lives with his wife and two children in Rülzheim.

Ulrich is a reputed executive in the IT sector, formerly Vice President and leader of the Manufacturing and Industrie 4.0 System Integration business at Atos in Germany. He is also founder and member of the Board of the International Data Spaces Association in Germany and served 16 years in the Board of the prostep IVIP organization until April 2018. 

After an apprenticeship as toolmaker at Hella KG, he studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Paderborn. In his career, Ahle held several positions as development engineer, Director of PLM services, sales director and Vice President. He has been part of Nixdorf Computer AG, Siemens and Atos. From January 2017 until the end of 2023 Ulrich Ahle was Chief Executive Officer of the FIWARE Foundation headquartered in Berlin, Germany. 

Starting from November 2023 Ulrich became CEO of the Gaia-X Association headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.

Prof Dr Philipp Hacker, LL.M. (Yale), holds the Chair of Law and Ethics of the Digital Society at the European New School of Digital Studies (ENS) at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder). His research currently focuses on the regulation of digital technologies, especially in the field of artificial intelligence. Philipp frequently collaborates with computer scientists and mathematicians, especially on questions of explainable AI and algorithmic fairness. He has received several academic awards for his work, including the 2020 Science Prize of the German Foundation for Law and Informatics. He regularly advises national and EU legislators, regulators and industry. Philipp is co-founder and co-leader of the International Expert Consortium on the Regulation, Economics and Computer Science of AI (RECSAI). He was recently appointed General Editor of the new, 12-volume series AI and Society, which will be published by Oxford University Press from 2024-2026.

In his role, Herzig oversees SAP’s Business AI efforts from strategy to execution to deliver exciting customer outcomes. Together with his team, he delivers state-of-the art AI services, tools, and technologies, and helps to embed AI across SAP’s entire application and platform portfolio. 

Before being appointed to his current role, Herzig was globally responsible for bringing SAP’s product portfolio together in one seamlessly integrated experience for customers, spanning from integration efforts to user experience, and cross-product innovations. Herzig started his career at SAP in 2009. Since then, he has held various roles as software engineer, architect, product owner and engineering leader at SAP's Innovation Center Potsdam. He led teams in multiple areas across SAP’s portfolio including Real Estate, SAP CPQ, and SAP’s Health applications. In these roles, Herzig focused on cloud-native application engineering, distributed systems, continuous integration and delivery, as well as fostering a culture of high engineering excellence. 

Herzig is based in Potsdam, Germany, and holds a PhD in Computer Science from Technische Universität Dresden.
