AI in Action Stage

Presentation

In 2025, development teams face critical challenges like AI code reliability concerns (45%), or the urgent need for skilled engineers. The AI Engineer addresses these challenges by serving as a specialized development assistant that enhances productivity across the entire software lifecycle.

Integrating various specialized LLMs, it supports developers with critical tasks that traditionally consume significant time and resources. The system offers capabilities including code translation, automated documentation, test creation, code review, and large codebase analysis.

What distinguishes this solution is its graph-based deep contextual understanding and integration with existing development artifacts. By connecting to Git repositories, Confluence, and Jira, the AI Engineer understands project-specific context, enabling more relevant assistance. The platform's workflow architecture allows for complex, multi-step processes that can be customized and reused across projects.

Multiple interfaces like a web-based UI, IDE plugins, and API access for automation within existing toolchains allow for flexibile usage without disrupting established workflows. For enterprises with specific compliance requirements, the platform supports various LLM options including Claude, Gemini, and open-source models hosted on a Sovereign German Cloud.

Currently used by approximately 85 projects with 1,000 users as of December 2024, the AI Engineer has demonstrated practical value in scenarios like documenting one million lines of code within a few weeks. The system is continuously evolving, with version 3.0 planned to enhance large codebase analysis capabilities and domain knowledge integration.

This presentation will explore how the AI Engineer addresses common development challenges, its technical architecture, and implementation strategies that organizations can adopt to enhance developer productivity while maintaining code quality and knowledge sharing.
