EU AI Act: Practical perspectives on implementing high-risk requirements

In this workshop, the facilitators from appliedAI will take a practical approach toward implementing the high-risk requirements under the EU AI Act from the view of a provider. Starting from the holistic perspective of the AI Value Chain, we will unpack the determinants for an AI system to be considered high-risk and subsequently explore the subtleties of those requirements. Key questions include: What are the interdependencies between high-risk requirements? How to deal with trade-offs and subjective decisions? How might a “portfolio view” affect the ROI of compliance cost? This interactive session offers plenty of opportunities for exchange and discussion.
