CUDA-QX and Artificial Intelligence for Quantum Computing
From graphics to high-performance computing to artificial intelligence, NVIDIA has helped drive every major computing revolution of the past two decades. Today, that same combination of hardware acceleration and AI innovation is being brought to quantum computing. This presentation explores NVIDIA's CUDA-QX libraries, a GPU-accelerated quantum computing framework that integrates artificial intelligence to advance quantum research and applications. We demonstrate how CUDA-QX’s two core components, CUDA-Q QEC for quantum error correction and CUDA-Q Solvers for quantum algorithms, achieve acceleration through AI-driven approaches. Examples include transformer-based error decoders and the Generative Quantum Eigensolver (GQE). The talk showcases practical applications in quantum chemistry, optimization, and hybrid quantum-classical machine learning, highlighting how artificial intelligence enhances quantum computing performance while bridging current hardware limitations toward fault-tolerant quantum supercomputing.
