Georg Gesek

George is a seasoned electronics engineer, quantum computer scientist, and serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the information and communication technology industry. He is driven by his passion for creating innovative solutions for hard problems by advancing high-performance computing. Together with Markus Pflitsch, George founded QMware AG in 2020 to build the first private global quantum cloud. QMware follows a hybrid quantum computing approach, merging the best of classical and quantum hardware. Leveraging this quantum-classical approach, the QMware Cloud provides quantum infrastructure as a service enabling companies to achieve unprecedented computing performance. At QMware, George serves within the board as technical executive, responsible for guiding the company’s strategy and driving the development of cutting-edge products for its hybrid quantum cloud platform. Additionally, as the founder and CEO of Novarion Systems (est. 2004), he brings a wealth of knowledge and insights to the table, particularly in the areas of hardware infrastructure and high-performance computing.
