Dr Christian Piltz

Dr. Christan Piltz is the technical site lead of the eleQtron development site in Hamburg. He is also the head of the projects with the Quantum Computing Initiative of the German Aerospace Center. He completed his doctorate at the Chair of Experimental Quantum Optics of Prof. Dr. Christof Wunderlich in the field of quantum information processing with stored ions. He then worked for six years in industry as a team leader in the research and development department of a laser industry company within an international group. He has been at eleQtron in the position described above since 2022.
