Vivien Bender is a member of the Responsible AI team at PwC, specializing in the trustworthy design and adoption of artificial intelligence solutions. With a background in International Management from Germany, Ireland, and China, she focuses on fostering a sustainable AI culture that emphasizes responsibility, transparency as well as trustworthy risk management and decision-making. Previously, she worked for an international science publishing house, where she coordinated an interdisciplinary team to explore the collaboration between authors and GPT in content and book creation, resulting in a functional prototype. She has also led lectures and workshops at various events, companies, and universities. In her daily business, Vivien shapes the future of AI by collaborating with companies to address AI adoption challenges, leveraging the EU AI Act for responsible innovation, and helping organizations establish clear roles, efficient stakeholder collaboration, and training programs. Passionate about AI’s transformative potential, she believes that responsible AI is essential for driving innovation and building trust within organizations.
