As a trained chemist, I harbor a deep passion for science and technology; I have made it my mission to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and tangible business value. With over 25 years of experience in customer-facing and pre-sales roles within the IT industry, I assist companies in the development and implementation of digital solutions—particularly in the field of applied quantum computing. In my current position as a Development Architect at SAP, I focus on operationalizing quantum computing within a business context, specifically for optimization use cases. As a chemist holding a PhD (Inorganic Chemistry, University of Dortmund, 1999), I combine profound scientific expertise with extensive industry experience. Yet, what would all of this be without the wonderful people by my side who support me—and without cycling, which provides me with the mental strength to bring these initiatives to a successful conclusion!
