Sarah Volkamer

Sarah Volkamer holds an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Nuremberg Institute of Technology Georg Simon Ohm. Since October 2025, she has been working as a Research Associate in the Quantum Compilation research group at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS). Her research focuses on methods and software for scaling quantum computing both in the near-term and fault-tolerant setting via circuit cutting and distributed quantum computing.
