Patrick O. Darby

Patrick O. Darby serves as Chief of Staff at SIGNAL IDUNA, one of Germany's largest private health insurers, where he is a key driver of digital transformation. In his current role, he is spearheading the implementation of a company-wide Agentic AI platform, building upon initial GenAI successes. Alongside his AI focus, Patrick also strategically guides venture capital investments that support digital innovation. His previous experience at SIGNAL IDUNA includes a role as Inhouse Consultant, where his initiatives led to the company becoming a market leader in e-scooter insurance. Prior to this, Patrick was a Consultant at Accenture, specializing in digital transformation within the financial services sector and implementing advanced digital processes. He holds an MBA from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
