Nils Jahnke

Nils Jahnke is a Research Associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Software and Systems Engineering (ISST) in Dortmund, Germany. His work centers on data management and data strategy, combining applied research with hands-on consulting for private- and public-sector organizations seeking to build and govern data-driven ecosystems. Currently, he works within the coordination and support action for the technology programme ‘Edge Datenwirtschaft’ (‘Edge Data Economy’) funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR). The program comprises ten projects that are developing new forms of edge cloud systems for important sectors of the German economy.
