Michael Donahue

Michael has over 25 years of experience in the tech industry as an engineer, product and portfolio manager, corporate strategist, and business unit leader. During his time at Hitachi, he has helped start up and incubate Hitachi Vantara’s Manufacturing, Transportation, and IoT business units. Over the last few years, Michael has been responsible for guiding Hitachi Vantara’s strategic shift from on-prem infrastructure products towards solutions focused on Artificial Intelligence and Hybrid Cloud. Focusing on the importance of quality data has prepared him for his current role as the Global Field CTO for Pentaho, Hitachi’s data intelligence software division, where he is focused on shaping how Hitachi and its customers discover, classify, and deliver analytics and AI ready data to virtually any data source or application regardless of location.
