Klaas Wiggers

Klaas Wiggers is the founder of the international initiative #I_make_AI (imakeai.org). Together with a team of students and teachers from Germany, Spain and Australia, he inspires young adults to pursue a career in the AI ecosystem. Over 200 videos on YouTube, posts on Instagram, more than ten episodes of the “People of Tech” podcast and the new event series “fail n’ grow” are all part of this initiative. Since 2021, Klaas Wiggers has been supporting Fraunhofer IAIS in the further development of the Germany-wide “AI4Schools” programme (ai4schools.de), is a consultant for the AI-powered maths app “Magma Math”, and is the initiator of the “MACH2” youth congresses in Germany. Klaas Wiggers is Deputy Headteacher at the Gymnasium an der Willmsstraße (Delmenhorst, Lower Saxony, Germany), where he teaches AI, mathematics and history.
