Leading the Way Towards the Fault-Tolerant Era with Photonic Quantum Computers
Dr Volz is an expert in experimental solid-state quantum optics and quantum technology. He is currently building up the German subsidy of the French quantum computing company Quandela. Prior to joining Quandela in early 2024, he worked at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, where he holds a professorship in experimental quantum science and technology. He also co-founded Redback Systems, a Sydney based startup that builds high-precision optical spectrometers for scientific and industrial applications.
