Dr Thomas Olemotz

After completing his studies in business administration, Dr Thomas Olemotz began his career as a research associate at the University of Gießen. Following his doctorate, he became assistant to the board of Westdeutsche Landesbank before moving on to Deutsche Gesellschaft für Mittelstandsberatung, a consultancy for medium-sized enterprises, where he headed Mergers & Acquisitions. He then joined Delton AG as Head of Corporate Development. Within that group, he later joined the Executive Board of Microlog Logistics AG, overseeing Finance and Human Resources. In March 2007, he became Chief Financial Officer of Bechtle AG. He was appointed Spokesperson of the Executive Board in January 2009, and in June 2010 became Chief Executive Officer.
