Dr Theresa Bick

Dr Theresa Bick is a Senior AI Specialist at Deepshore, where she designs and implements enterprise-ready AI solutions for data and document analysis, particularly for large volumes of data. She uses ML, NLP, transformer-based models and large language models to extract, classify, and structure complex content at scale. Her focus is on making AI work reliably in practice, with data sovereignty as the guiding principle: models run on-premises, resources are optimized to keep infrastructure lean, and careful monitoring, evaluation, and feedback loops ensure solutions stay dependable over time. Earlier in her career, she worked at Fraunhofer IAIS, specializing in computer vision and deep learning with a focus on bringing models into production. She holds a PhD in Meteorology (data assimilation) and a Diploma in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science, bringing more than 13 years of experience in data science and applied AI.
