Dr Lars Schwabe has been the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Lufthansa Industry Solutions since 2025. He holds a PhD in neuroinformatics from TU Berlin, where he also studied computer science and philosophy. Following international postdoctoral research, he was a professor at the University of Rostock until 2012. Dr. Schwabe then led Data Science teams for a Deutsche Telekom subsidiary in online marketing before joining Lufthansa Industry Solutions (LHIND) in 2016 to help establish their Big Data, AI, and Data Analytics divisions. There, he also built the digital and IT strategy consulting team, and led the IoT teams.
