Dr Kevin Mato

Kevin is a quantum computing software engineer on the NVIDIA CUDA-QX team, working across multiple layers of the quantum computing stack, with a focus on quantum error correction and scalable tools for hybrid quantum-classical workflows. He fell in love with quantum computing in 2015 and, before joining NVIDIA, researched performance trade-offs across GPUs, large-scale HPC systems, trapped ion systems, and quantum annealers. Kevin holds a PhD in Quantum Computing from the Technical University of Munich.
