Dr Benjamin Tallis

Benjamin Tallis is Head of Thought Leadership at Helsing where he is Senior Manager in Government Affairs. Ben is a leading expert on European security and defence, on which he has worked for the last two decades - as a government advisor, think tanker, academic, analyst and as a practitioner, including on EU security missions in Ukraine and in the Balkans. He has published extensively in leading public and academic outlets, inculding on Germany's 'Zeitenwende' and on the srategic centrality of emerging defence technologies for European security. He is the author of the books 'Turning Point', 'Identities, Borderscapes, Orders' and 'To Ukraine With Love' and of the concept of 'Neo-Idealism' in international relations.
