Sascha Dewald

Sascha Dewald has been SVP Corporate Development & Communications at Deutsche Kreditbank AG (DKB) since April 2024. Prior to that, since February 2019, he led DKB’s retail banking division as SVP Retail Banking, overseeing the private customer business of Germany’s second-largest direct bank. Before joining DKB, he was CEO of FinReach GmbH (now Qwist), a Berlin-based fintech developing digital solutions for financial service providers. 

He is also a member of the Mastercard Supervisory Board and a board member of the FinTech and Digital Banking working group at BITKOM e.V. Besides his current role, Sascha remains active as a mentor, advisor, coach, and angel investor for aspiring founders, and privately co-hosts the Payment & Banking podcast "AI in Finance" together with Maik Klotz.
