Sabrina Maniscalo

Sabrina Maniscalco is the CEO and co-founder of Algorithmiq Ltd, a VC-backed, world-leading quantum algorithms and software startup developing quantum computing solutions for real-world applications, with a strong focus on healthcare and life sciences. Algorithmiq has raised over €35M to date and operates across Helsinki, London, Dublin, and Milan. Sabrina previously held a professorship in quantum computing and resigned from academia at the end of February 2026 to focus full-time on building Algorithmiq. She has over 20 years of experience in quantum science and technology, with particular expertise in noise and errors in quantum devices. She has authored 250+ peer-reviewed scientific publications and received 10,000+ citations. In her current role, she leads Algorithmiq’s mission to deliver commercially relevant quantum-enabled solutions by combining quantum computing, advanced computational methods, and AI, accelerating breakthroughs in healthcare and life sciences.
