Hanna Hennig

Hanna Hennig has been the Chief Information Officer of Siemens AG since January 2020 and is driving the digital transformation of the international technology group. She is a passionate technologist with over 30 years of experience in IT. During this time, she has supported and led various companies through their business and digital transformations, including Osram, Telefonica O2, E.ON, Robert Bosch, and Cap Gemini. She studied Economics and Japanese at the University of Hannover.

In her role as a board member of the BDI/Bitkom initiative #SheTransformsIT, Hanna Hennig advocates for greater gender equality in technology professions, as well as promoting IT talent in business as Deputy Chair of the CIO Foundation - WHU. Additionally, she is committed to establishing sustainability standards in IT as a board member of the non-profit organisation SustainableIT.org and serves as an advisor for several technology companies and associations such as IDC, AWS, VOICE - Federal Association of IT Users e.V., Mendix, Next47, and the Hamburg IT Strategy Days.
