Dr Till Eggers

I am an executive with over 20 years of experience shaping and delivering enterprise AI transformation across global corporations. My work focuses on building the strategies, platforms, and capabilities that allow large organizations to unlock value with Data & AI at scale. 

As Head of AI & Analytics at Boehringer Ingelheim, I lead a wonderful team running and shaping the enterprise AI and Analytics platform —including GenAI and agentic AI products. I also drive analytics enablement, and own both the AI-Tech-Strategy and Data & AI capability building through the Data X Academy. These elements form the backbone of our joint quest at Boehringer Ingelheim to transform healthcare and improve the lives of millions — both humans and animals and for its own corporate transformation to grow with Data & AI. 

Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim, I held senior roles at BASF, including leader of the Corporate AI Strategy, owner of the Digitalization & Automation lever in Project Unique, and co-developer of the Data2Value pillar of BASF’s corporate strategy. I also had the pleasure to build and led a global data science organization of world-class scientists delivering Data and AI solutions across global R&D. 

My background includes a PhD from Imperial College London and a decade of PhD, Postdoctoral and Professorial academic research in ecology, biostatistics, and quantitative modelling. I received the Hans-Muehlenhoff-Prize for excellence in university teaching.
