Dr Thomas Hußlein

Dr Thomas Hußlein is Chief Research Officer and Co-Founder of OptWare GmbH, helping industrial companies improve production, logistics, and supply-chain performance through AI-driven optimization and intelligent decision systems. He studied physics and computer science, earned a PhD in computer-based quantum simulations, and conducted research at IBM Watson Research Center and the University of Pennsylvania. 

For more than 25 years, he has been leading industrial AI and optimization projects for global manufacturing and logistics companies. Today, he is driving the development of the OptWare Hub — a scalable platform that combines optimization, AI, and quantum computing technologies for next-generation production and supply-chain systems.
