Dr Kara Maller

Dr Kara Maller is a Senior Quantum Solutions Engineer at Q-CTRL, where she works at the intersection of quantum technology and real-world applications, helping organizations explore and adopt quantum solutions. Prior to joining Q-CTRL, she spent five years at Siemens as a Data Scientist, leading the development and integration of AI pricing models across global business units. She previously held research roles at the Georgia Tech Research Institute and completed her PhD in Physics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she contributed to experimental quantum computing using cold atom systems. Kara has a broad background spanning quantum technologies, machine learning, and applied research, and is passionate about bridging the gap between advanced science and industry needs.
