Dr Corey O'Meara is the Chief Quantum Scientist at E.ON Digital Technology GmbH. In his current role, he is technically managing the E.ON efforts in finding immediate and useful applications of quantum technologies to the energy sector. Prior to E.ON, he led the Applied AI team at the German Space Operation Center, where his team developed AI solutions for German satellites. Corey completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Guelph, Canada, before completing his Ph.D in Quantum Computing at the Technical University of Munich, Germany in 2014.
